Extended holiday hours!

The shop will have extended holiday hours starting next week. Normally we are closed on Mondays throughout the year, but we will be open Monday, December 14th and 21st from 10:00-5:00. We will also be open Christmas Eve til 6:00 p.m. If you haven't started your shopping, no worries, we have lots of great gifts for everyone on your list!

Special Artist Event

I am very excited to have well-known area artist Quen Carpenter be at the shop on December 12th doing quick sketch portraits. Recently I had the chance to sit down with Quen and have my own portrait done. This is a great opportunity to take home a wonderful keepsake for the holidays or give to someone else! 1st Annual Artist Trunk Show

Our first annual Artist Trunk Show will be on Saturday, September 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the artists will have extra inventory to sell for this one-day-only event, and will also demonstrate their individual craftsmanship throughout the day. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
Participating local artists will include:
Brian Geier, who makes wheel-thrown functional
pottery with soft, natural glazes; Janet Zohorsky’s
one-of-a-kind, artistic mini photo albums that celebrate
special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, holidays and
gardening; Jane Wilcoxson’s wistful and whimsical jewelry
made from freshwater pearls, Hill Tribe silver and beads;
Rebecca Crown’s wool-felted key chains and adornments;
Susan Kritzberg’s handcrafted cupcake memo holders, and
Virginia Stibbe’s pressed and dried flower botanical
designs.
